Motorway and Regions

The A22 is much more than just infrastructure: it connects regions, economies and people, linking Northern Europe with the Mediterranean. Its management, which reflects the character of the regions it passes through, embodies a constant commitment to balancing economic development, safety, innovation and environmental protection via concrete measures implemented along the entire route. The motorway blends into the places it passes through, helping to enhance their identity and landscapes while promoting cultural and social initiatives.

Autostrada del Brennero grows alongside the regions it passes through by promoting increasingly sustainable, low-emission transport, highlighting local characteristics and contributing to the development of the communities along the motorway route.

Infopoint

In 2024, Autostrada del Brennero set up an innovative Infopoint at the Rovereto Sud exit, now managed by the APT Rovereto, Vallagarina and Monte Baldo tourism board. The aim is to create a link between the motorway and the local area, transforming mobility into an integrated and sustainable experience.

The Infopoint, which could serve as a model for other contexts, is in fact a veritable hub for alternative mobility. Here, visitors can hire bicycles and e-bikes to access the cycle path linked to the EuroVelo 7 network, or obtain information on events, routes and local attractions in the area around Rovereto, Trento and Lake Garda.

The Rovereto Sud station thereby becomes a gateway to the local area, offering travellers their first glimpse of the cultural and natural heritage of the local communities.
